I want to pair with two devices OR stop using an old device and pair with a new one

Pairing your Kinsa Smart Ear with two phones simultaneously is not currently supported, though we hope to enable this functionality in the near future. 

If you want the Smart Ear to pair with a different device (e.g. you bought a new phone), on the original phone access “Settings > Bluetooth” and switch it off (until you get the new device paired with the Ear).

Then reset the thermometer. To do so:

  1. Press and hold the small white Bluetooth button which is on the left side of the thermometer.
  2. Next press and hold the large round power button located above the LCD screen.
  3. Keep holding both buttons down for 5-7 seconds until the screen resets. The screen should start flashing, beep, and then display the Bluetooth icon at the top.

Now you’re ready to pair with the new device! Just make sure Bluetooth is turned on for that new device.
